Deve existir uma reunião mundial para discutir práticas bizarras de (não) diplomacia, ou, técnicas criativas para complicar a emissão de um visto.
Veja essa, dos Emirados Árabes - você precisa de um visto para cada HOTEL que for ficar, mesmo sendo no mesmo país! E a brincadeira é cara. O visto custa, em valores de hoje, cerca de R$ 26,50 por pessoa por dia na estadia máxima de 14 dias.
Nessa troca de e-mails com o Ritz Carlton Dubai, resolvi mudar novamente o roteiro e REDUZIR a minha estadia no País. Não irei mais a Abu Dhabi apenas por causa dessa bizarrice.

The visa will be charged at AED 600.00 per visa, single entry at Dubai International Airport with a maximum stay of 14days or AED 750.00 per visa, single entry at Dubai International Airport with a maximum stay of 30days. The visa process will take approximately 10 to 14 working days.
(AED 600 em valores de junho 2014 dá 163 dólares por pessoa por visto, ou 372 reais!).
Visa will be cancelled if the room booking is cancelled with an additional charge of AED 300.
The Visa once issued will be valid only for stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai.
(ai eu perguntei se eu precisaria de outro visto para ficar em outro hotel em Abu Dhabi, e...).
